Stated Congregational Meeting

The annual meeting of the Congregation of Tenth Presbyterian Church, Philadelphia, and the Corporation of Tenth Presbyterian Church, is called for Friday, December 4, 2026, for the following purposes:

• Adoption of the annual congregational budget
• Election of deacons
• Approval of proposed congregational bylaws amendments
• Transaction of any other business properly coming before the meeting

A congregational forum about the proposed bylaw amendments will take place, Lord willing, on Sunday, November 15, after the 11:00 a.m. service. Additionally, there will be a forum on the budget on November 22 after the 11:00 a.m. service.
 
As noted in our by-laws, the agenda for our congregational meeting includes “the transaction of any business properly coming before such meeting.” There will be an agenda item for new business, where members may present new motions. However, this section will occur at the end of the meeting, and time may be limited. Also, to keep things orderly and timely, please contact Pastor Brock at [email protected] (assistant to the moderator) before November 24, to discuss any motion you would like to make. If the motion is appropriate for the meeting, it may be included in the stated agenda. Taking this option, can help to ensure you have a guaranteed time slot to present your motion, and it will help the meeting proceed in an orderly and structured fashion. 
 
A finalized agenda for the meeting will be distributed during Thanksgiving week.

The meeting of the Congregation and Corporation of Tenth Presbyterian Church will begin on Friday, December 4, at 7pm (with refreshments served in Reception Hall from 6pm).

If you are a member of Tenth Presbyterian Church, then we encourage you to attend, or at least a representative from your family.
